The Challenge
ClearLedger needed to replace a decade-old Excel-based reporting system. Finance teams were spending 12+ hours per week manually compiling reports that should take minutes. The existing data lived across four disconnected databases.
Our Solution
We built a unified analytics platform that connects all four databases through a read-optimized layer, generates reports in under 3 seconds, and lets finance teams build custom views without engineering help.
Technical Approach
We chose Next.js with server-side rendering for the dashboard shell to ensure reports are SEO-accessible for external sharing. D3.js handles the chart layer with React portals for performance. A PostgreSQL read replica with materialized views serves aggregated data in <100ms.
